Tens of thousands of people – around 70,000, according to reports – descended on Prague over the weekend to protest against the government of the Czech Republic for sanctioning Russia and helping to create an energy crisis.
The mob demanded that the ruling coalition take a neutral stance on the war in Ukraine to ensure that energy continues to flow throughout the winter as opposed to running dry like it already is in Germany, France and elsewhere in Western Europe.
Protesters want political detachment from the European Union (EU) and its economic aggression against Russia, which is only harming the people of the countries doing the aggressing. “The aim of our demonstration is to demand change, mainly in solving the issue of energy prices, especially electricity and gas, which will destroy our economy this autumn,” said event organizer Jiri Havel to local news outlet iDNES.
The main protest occurred in Wenceslas Square in the heart of the Czech capital. It arrived one day after the Czech government survived a no-confidence vote accusing it of failing to act to protect citizens against energy hyperinflation.
As increasingly more Europeans come to the realization that they are in a lot of trouble this winter, protests like this one are starting to pop up in more places across the continent.
A recent study found that civil unrest is a sure thing across Europe – and likely the entire world – in the coming months as the chickens come home to roost for every financial system and market that is plagued by overleveraging, manipulation and fraud.
As we continue to report, the fiat currency Ponzi scheme is a hallmark of most of the world’s economies. And as it teeters on the verge of a total house of cards-style collapse, unrest continues to grow.
“The entire Wenceslas Square demands the resignation of the current government!” tweeted one protester along with a video of the protest – see below:

In short, average Czechs do not care about the elite’s squabbling with Russia. They want cheap and abundant fuel from Russia, and to not have their lives and livelihoods dragged into the melee as is currently happening.
Every country right now that is sanctioning Russia to the detriment of its own economy and demise of its own people is fast becoming a target of populist uprisings screaming enough is enough.
“The EU knew full well that by forcing Putin into a war, and sanctioning him and stealing his foreign reserves, that he would cut off the gas,” wrote a commenter. “So ask yourself, why the EU (Weffers) want to starve and freeze their own populations? (Re-set).”
“I’m guessing this winter is going to be the coldest ever in Western Europe,” wrote another.
“It was a two-fer for them: destroy Putin and pillage Russia’s natural resources, AND push the Europeasants into the Great Reset,” added someone else about how elaborate the script more than likely is.
