If you are a longtime reader of Natural News, you know how important it is to take the steps necessary to prepare for anything from an isolated survival scenario to complete societal collapse. But as important as it is, sometimes prepping can get a bit tiresome. You may find yourself asking, “Is this really worth all the trouble?” or “if I stop prepping, what’s the worst that can happen?” Thoughts like these are normal, but that doesn’t mean you should act upon them and stop prepping altogether. That would be a dangerous and potentially life-threatening mistake.
If your commitment to prepping is wavering or has wavered in the past, consider an article that was recently published on SHTFPlan.com and then later on ReadyNutrition.com that poses the following question: How horrific will it be for the non-prepper?

While it’s easy to see how people can get caught up in the struggles of day-to-day life and begin focusing less on how bad things could be in the aftermath of large scale cataclysm, it’s important to continuously remind yourself of the potential dangers you could face when SHTF. (Related: Here’s why prepping is the best way to ensure you have the supplies you need before the next disaster.)
The article then goes on to list a number of things that non-preppers will likely face in the event that society collapses and they suddenly find themselves fighting for their survival. Some of these things on the list include:
Prepping can be difficult and quite time consuming if you want to do it right, but giving up on it could be the biggest mistake of your life.
